Nittany MinitMart, a locally owned convenience store known for its community focus, recently wrapped up a campaign that raised $22,169.25 for The Jared Box Project, a nonprofit that delivers boxes filled with toys, games, and activities to children in hospitals. The campaign invited customers to round up their purchases at checkout or buy special donation cards, and the results exceeded expectations.

“This shows just how generous our customers and team are,” said Nicole Masullo of Nittany MinitMart. “Every little bit added up, and knowing that this donation will brighten the days of so many children made this fundraiser really special.”

The Jared Box Project began in 2001 in honor of five-year-old Jared, who was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Since then, more than 1,000,000 Jared Boxes have been delivered to hospitals across the United States, bringing comfort and joy to young patients.

Nittany MinitMart says they are proud to partner with local organizations like The Jared Box Project to make a meaningful impact in the communities they serve. “Supporting causes that matter to our neighbors is at the heart of what we do,” Masullo added. “We’re grateful to our customers and employees for helping us give back, and we look forward to continuing to make a difference one campaign at a time.”
